You see more and more why healing is happening through music. It’s because music causes a reorganisation of the tonal  structure, and Man in essence is a vibration

-Kenneth.G.Mills

The comparison of pitch should not be limited to a few treble instruments, but should begin with drums and double-basses, and so proceed upwards. The process, lastly, should not be carried on by compelling all to tune up to the sharpest, but by bringing the sharper instruments slightly down to a medium pitch;
this would obviate the constant need for cutting instruments to pieces which is now felt, and prevent the steady tendency to sharpen, which is ruining our voices,
and rendering much classical music impossible to all but singers of rare and exceptional organization.”

W.H. Stone (Excerpt from “The Scientific Basis of Music 1878”)

The whole force-field of Light rests on unity

-Kenneth G Mills

There are no whole truths; all truths are half truths. It is trying to treat them as whole truths that plays the devil.

-Alfred North Whitehead (London, 1954)

We are not at present seeking to disprove materialism, but only to understand it; and the task is no easy one. Into this discussion of the relation of the two series an ambiguity and an unreal simplification have already crept.
By the mental series we may mean the thoughts and feelings which we call ours, or we may mean the mystical endowments, the subjective aspects, of the elements themselves. For the sake of clearness these meanings must be kept distinct.
But this complicates the matter most unpleasantly. We have now three factors, the physical order, the subjective aspects of the elements, and our own thoughts and feelings; and we have to determine their mutual relations.
When the materialist is pressed with these difficulties he is apt to solve the problem by by saying that the mental series is an aspect, or phenomenon, or epiphenomenon of the physical series.
Hence the mental series means our thoughts and feelings; and phenomenon is the word which removes all difficulties.
Unfortunately, it is the most treacherous ally the materialist can have; for where there is no subject there is no “aspects” and no “phenomena.”
Suppose atoms turn in a left hand spiral, and love is an aspect of this fact. But for whom? For the atoms?, If so, for all, or for each, or for only one? for what or for whom? For the motion itself perhaps!
A phenomenon as such cannot exist apart from consciousness.
Hence a doctrine which makes thought phenomenal tacitly assumes the very mental subject it aims to deny.

There is math in music, but not all math is music.

-Brian T Collins

The difference between genius and stupidity is; genius has it’s limits…
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universe.

-Albert Einstein (1879-1955) acclaimed pseudo-scientist.
